Dream Cruises to set LEGO world record for World Dream

Dream Cruises is hosting a grand celebration to kick-off the arrival of World Dream, showcasing fun new experiences and breaking a LEGO world record.

The excitement begins with Dream Cruises’ innovative ‘#TogetherWeBuildDreams’ campaign, which engages consumers in the building of the world’s largest LEGO cruise ship.

The 8.44 metre cruise ship replica of World Dream is expected to be certified by the Guinness Book of World Records and completed in time for World Dream’s arrival in Hong Kong.

“At Dream Cruises, we aim to inspire and push the boundaries in vacation experiences, and this project is a great metaphor for our remarkable journey,” Dream Cruises Lines president Thatcher Brown says.

Starting 17 November 2017, Dream Cruises will take guests into a world of wonder with fascinating journeys to popular exotic destinations in Asia.

World Dream will sail from Hong Kong and take guests on two weekly alternating six-day/five-night itineraries to fascinating places including Boracay and Manila in the Philippines and Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang in Vietnam.

Additionally, there will be a three-day/two-night weekend cruise from Hong Kong around the Pearl River Delta.

World Dream will have a capacity of 3,400 guests and 1,686 staterooms with triple and quad sharing, 70 per cent of which will have stunning ocean views.

Each journey will be enjoyable with new world-class entertainment, including state-of-the-art virtual reality and game zone, dazzling laser and fireworks displays, and a Latin ballroom show.

New dining spaces including the Vintage Room Chef Table in partnership with Penfolds Wine, and two seafood and steakhouse restaurants will join the existing 35 mouth-watering restaurants and bars.

With even more duty-free shopping, a beauty bar with personal beauty consultants, and specially designed organic spa packages, guests are ensured an enjoyable holistic and healthy holiday.

Dream Cruises will hold roadshows where consumers who booked their cruise (balcony deluxe and above) can participate in the building of the LEGO model.
