Tropical adventures in New Caledonia

With incredible beaches and palm-fringed waters, New Caledonia offers a variety of exciting activities against a backdrop of stunning scenery.

Travellers can head to the northwest of New Caledonia to view the heart of Voh – an incredible natural heart-shaped plant formation in a mangrove.

For a remarkable viewing point at an altitude of 400 metres, walk to Mount Kathépaïk, which takes around two hours’ return.

However, the heart of Voh is best seen by air in a three-hour helicopter ride. Departing from Magenta, you’ll have the opportunity to view amazing landscapes in places such as Païta, Tontouta, Borail and Poya, and fly over the world’s largest lagoon.

Other helicopter flights, which range in length, take visitors over beautiful landscapes including the Anse Vata Bay, Duck Island, and the coral barrier reef, which is the second largest reef in the world.
